With less than 24 hours left until another great trivia weekend starts, I'm so excited I can hardly
contain myself. I haven't been able to think about anything else since after registration on Monday. There's nothing
more to say-I just love this contest. I'm so proud to be part of a community that can be almost invisible 362 days a
year, but shine for that one weekend. Stevens Point becomes a different place trivia weekend. We're not just citizens,
we're trivia players. Everyone has something in common this weekend, and we all come together to celebrate
it. It's a pretty remarkable thing to be involved in.
We seem to have all our bases covered: plenty of participating members, a cozy and functional
headquarters, enough food to feed Asia for a month, and a tidbit of organization. We all failed to take notes throughout
the year (SURPRISE! haha) but I have faith in our searching skills. It's going to be a pretty solid year.
We'd like to make it into the top 50 this year, but we'll see!
The weather is looking pretty lame, but that's never stopped us before.
When I logged onto this
site today to update, I realized it's been three years since we've updated. That's a long time. We've come a long
way as a team, and as individuals. We're all grown up now! It's pretty cool that we've been playing together all
these years. I hope to make it many more.
Well, here we go, fellow trivia players. I wish you all the best of luck, and more importantly,
have yourself a good time this weekend.
I'm off to frantically flip through the Trivia Times, searching for meaning in the photos.....
